A glimpse of Donna getting into her sapphic side would be so much fun.
• Was the aforementioned song her way of coming out to her entire class at once?
• Does she like to use the Dynamos’ performances as an outlet for her queerness, and maybe her attraction to Tanya in particular?

Notes:

• I’m referring to protag as Ren, but you can call him Akira if you’d prefer.
• I identify with Futaba a lot because of her mental illness, history of abuse, dead mother... She’s also really adorable in general.
• Also adorable: Morgana, the world’s first transgender kitty-cat (PRECIOUS BOY)!!
• I am totally in love with Ann, Makoto, and Sae (especially shadow Sae because ohhhh my god goth flapper Carmen Sandiego).
• I have so many goddamn prompts for this fandom that I had to break them up so they weren’t one overwhelming list, so I’ve grouped them below as follows: Ann-centric, Futaba-centric, other characters, AUs.

Prompts – Ann-centric:

• Makoto or Futaba realises she's staring at Ann in her Panther outfit while in the Metaverse
• Ann remakes the Panther outfit in the real world to draw the admiration of her significant other in the bedroom
• Ann’s s.o. (especially Shiho) making her feel more comfortable with showing her body to them
  • This would have to be handled carefully to avoid triggering her, but I’m coming at it as a reference to her first impulse to cover up the boob window when she first transforms, not to Kamoshida. (Though of course the two might be related.)
• Makoto and Ann (more grown-up) engage in light S&M. I guess the line I’d draw here is I’m not interested in varieties of S&M where someone is hurt, but I would love to see Makoto blindfold Ann / tie her hands / handcuff her. I feel like Queen’s outfit is very S&M, and then you have Panther with the whip, and, well.

Prompts – Futaba-centric:

• Futaba coming out of her shell for her crush (even reluctantly)
  • This extremely cute fanart of Ann trying to get Futaba to wear makeup
• Futaba somehow, miraculously, works up the nerve to ask her crush out
• Futaba’s s.o. helps her pull through a depressive/anxiety/agoraphobia attack
• Futaba and Haru bonding. I feel like they would have an interesting and meaningful relationship since they’ve both lost their parents. At that point, both their parents’ deaths were at the hands of the same person, and both indirectly shaped their experiences as Phantom Thieves. I’d like to see them work through some of that trauma together.
  • The other interesting piece here is that while Futaba totally withdrew into herself after her mother’s death, Haru went in the opposite direction and got more fiery and violent.

Prompts – Other characters:

• Makoto realizes she’s gay for Eiko, who’s been gay for Makoto all along
• Makoto’s blouse gets wet in the rain, showing off her figure and great bone structure (and her underwear, or lack thereof) oh god please let me have this
• Kawakami actually does have a little sister who needs medical attention... Miwa-chan.
• Annnnything with my goth queens Sae and Tae
• Sojiro has to be the dad to all these ridiculous kids, even though only two of them are supposed to be his charges to begin with, though at least he gets some help from Onee-san Sae
  • Development of Sojiro and Sae’s friendship in general. Sae seems to genuinely like Sojiro’s cooking (“The next time I come here, it’ll just be for a good cup of coffee”), and I’d like to see the former enemies end up as friends. Please don’t ship them though.
• PHANTOM THIEVES SLEEPOVER God I want this so bad like all of them just come hang out and have a slumber party with Ren and are good kids together
• This is one angst prompt I'd be okay with: Haru likes Makoto, but Makoto likes Ann, but Ann likes Ryuji, but Ryuji likes Ren. It turns out that Ren likes Ryuji too and they start dating, which crushes Ann. Makoto comforts Ann as a friend in spite of the pain of seeing her in love with Ryuji (because she is my selfless sweetheart), and eventually, to Makoto’s surprise, Ann realizes that she’s great for her. This of course crushes Haru because she’s the only one left behind, until Futaba unexpectedly asks her out.

AU prompts — I'm not always fond of AUs, but I feel like all of these would work really well with P5. Some of them would probably require aging the characters up, which I’m fine with.

• Hogwarts AU! Generally I’m not fond of these, but I feel like it would work really well with P5. Maybe the Phantom Thieves are all prefects, Igor is the headmaster, and the adults are professors and staff? For houses, I’m seeing:
  • Gryffindor - Ren, Haru
  • Hufflepuff - Ryuji, Ann, Shiho, Mishima (?)
  • Ravenclaw - Yusuke, Makoto
  • Slytherin - Futaba (?), Morgana (?)
• Scooby-Doo style AU where these weirdo kids and their talking cat investigate “supernatural” occurrences that are really just the work of dastardly adults
• AU where the Phantom Thieves are actual cat burglars
• A detective AU. Some of my favorite parts of the game (like... any text, really) are when the characters are doing detective-y things like tracking Akechi, or when Makoto deduces Alibaba’s identity. A hard-boiled detective AU would be lots of fun, though I could also see it as a more Clue-/Agatha Christie-type AU. Makoto might be the lead detective, since she’s the one who seems to be the best at their detective work in game (with Ann, surprisingly, coming up second).

DNW:

• Futaba’s mental illness / neurodivergence depicted as scary, except insofar as it could scare the others because they would worry about her. In fact, if you aren’t mentally ill, please don’t address her mental illness at all.
• Depiction or discussion of Kamoshida / sexual abuse, or of suicide
• Characters doing things that would trigger Ann and Shiho as sexual abuse victims
  • This includes the nude modeling thing!
  • If Ann and/or Shiho is having sex (or coming close), I’d be okay with discussion of how far is okay to go, as long as the s.o. lets her drive the decision, but I wouldn’t want the fic to be about that.
• More than a mention of Akechi
• Yusuke being anything but gay, because come on
• I can’t believe I even have to say this (god damn Atlus), but teacher/student relationships. I am, surprisingly, okay with Ren/Takemi, but not with Ren/Kawakami. Ew ew eww.
